it looks like it meant to rise about 8:40, but there is a heap of cloud in the sky above me at the moment so might not get much tonight :(

Huh, thought it was last night. Certainly looked plenty big + full from the bunkers below the Brooklyn turbine.

Maybe that's why we were the only ones there :eh: better weather than today anyway, and lots of twinkly lights through the trees on Carparts/Windmill, Sawmill, Transient & Mt Vic. Good to see.

Just read your workflow on FB - I had no idea that you shot these (or this one at least) with a 50mm. I've been wondering for a while (but never getting around to trying) if that would be possible. Given that my only non kit lens is a 50mm 1.8, I am tempted to try some landscape pano tinkering :sly:

I just been out but to much cloud ovet the "Rua"..and I didn't read the new app I downloaded correctly Moonset was at 8:42, rise was 7:25 DOH! :paranoid: sorry to anyone who followed my advise :blush:
