Exactly!

That's right - The only bad shot is the one you didn't take.

If your photography is as good as your grammar... Ha!

Na, but seriously fella, drop a few up. Have you seen some of the stuff in this thread? lol

I think the new trend that I have seen is take some blurry out of focus shite, get it published in a mag, but say that it is capturing the movement in the life of the scene etc insert arty reasoning bollocks here! lmao

Ugh, that stuff. Yuck.

And the whole using 4 flashes outside on a sunny day so that the mountain biker's shadow is pointing towards the sun shiz, just so we can read all the brand placements.

IMHO they are no longer photos but "Art piece's" I know a lot of photos(including some of mine) are manipulated but they have been taken a bit to far to still be called photos, I know some people like that type of thing and some I think are cool (not those but that is my taste), when I manipulate (photoshop) a picture I have a personal rule that the orginal pics must come from tha same spot and and from the same shoot.... like this one is made up from 70 pics

My thoughts are that it's up to whoever dunnit to do whatever they want. The only area I would be critical of is where the essence is the fact, rather than the aesthetics (eg photo journalism).

I dont mind people doing whatever they like to an image, at some point it becomes digital art. Dont call it a photograph, dont say its straight out of camera.

Talking about straight out of camera, this wasnt. 36 frame stitch of aurora at Magnet bay last Wednesday night, been on a trip so not had chance to look through the rest...

Good shot Ryda! Nothing wrong with the technique, looks a little noisy which will be mostly gear related I am guessing.
