So Canon 7D, but I bought a body only. Clipped on was a 10 (at least) year old 70 - 300

No, but seriously, it's pretty fantastic, but I am finding that after my 400D I am totally lost with it, about 90% of the time. I am really only using it in the same way that I was using my 400D so far.

I am getting there though, and WOW it's focusing is sooooo quick. And it's nice to have a decent weight in your hands too.

I do recommend it. :-)
