Thanks Rob.
I've played with HDR is Photoshop CS5, but found it pretty average.
Although my complete lack of knowledge on the subject may have had something to do with it...

Photomatix seems to be the weapon of choice for HDR?
Anything else worth looking at - or just head straight for that?

Photomatix is great, seems to deliver great photos without excessive fiddling with settings.

Couple from my recent trip to Toronto... I dislike how the uploaded versions are not as sharp as they are on my computer, but you get the general idea...

A couple of shots from the last 2 weeks. Autumn colours here in Japan are almost finished, but managed to catch the tail-end of it all. Also shot this Levin for a mate.

Thanks - were a fun trip for sure... I'd love to bring my new camera to NZ (which if everything works out job wise, MIGHT be next year in November or so)
