I've got a 50mm f1.4 Super Takumar Pentax that produces pretty decent results, just suing a M42 to Eos adaptor.

I'm just looking for some newer stuff as I want to use it for Photography aswell, and I've found the Focusing through the viewfinder and the actual sensor are different with older lenses, so its near impossible to get it right.

Thats because your 60D doesnt have a fast viewscreen!
There optimised for slow lenses thesedays so only show f4 or f5.6 dof.

You can replace the viewscreen with a 3rd party one like catseye for manual focusing, or even use an LCD loupe attachment and live view?

Was in Hawera last night, boosted from work at 4:30 and headed up the Surf Highway for what looked it was going to be an awesome sunset - but alas I was 5 minutes too late (and some big fuck off un-photogenic clouds rolled in and ruined my plans. So decided to muck around with some long exposures down by the rocks.

Then it got dark...

Yeah that brief play got me thinking about an ND for similar experiments during daylight hours.

There done in ProPhoto colourspace, you need to convert them to sRGB for web.

Any reason your using prophoto? No screen and very few printers can get close to that colourspace.

So I got it... F2L 135mm goodness, have only had enough light to take these so far... But even just these i'm pretty stoked with, taken at 5:15, so you can get how much light there was to work with.

Dang wuffy that is sharp, you've sold me. Shot on a 60d?
Did they let you swap the prize for the 135?

What are your guys thoughts on parallel imports?
Have the option of buying second hand $1200 on tardme (from UK originally), $1400 parallel imported new, $1800 new from camera store

I got my 500D from einfo.co.nz . It's been awesome so far, and I saved allot by buying it off their online store .
