Was that for the Cheer up Chch comp?
I desperately tried to 'like' your vid - but bookface just wouldn't let me. Did you have to be friends with P&V or sommat?

Yeah they announced it today. Something like that, think you had to like their page? Good way of marketing actually, gets tons of people to like their page to support friends.

But pretty pleased

You should be dude - it was a great vid.

Just looked up their page too, agree with what they said about being impossible to compare video with stills too - which makes it an even better win IMO, as they would've been reluctant to award it to a vid for fear of "that's not fair" etc. And great that they're going to run separate vid comps in future too

Any ideas on what the prize is? Mmmmmm, Sony.....

They sold the proper prize (Sony SLT-A33 with 18-200mm f3.5-5.6) by accident

That's fine by me, just anything is awesome. Equivalent store credit would be even more awesomerer, the 135mm F2L i've had my eye on might be mine sooner than I thought :p

Made it so it wasn't listed. i.e. Can only view with a link. So won't show up in searches.

Saw that one on your Pinkbike profile a few weeks ago.
Awesome video though!
Thats definitely good enough to be in a high budget film like Follow Me etc.

Nah that's no where near! Not for me anyway, I've still got a few things to do before I can get close to that level.

On my wishlist too. Have wondered though how versatile it would be for MTB shots being a prime.

I'll soon be swapping out to full prime gear.

Basically, for the speed and low DOF. My kit once complete will be awesome for low light, and give amazing results hopefully. Just need to sell a few things and pop into my local shop.

The only thing I would get if I had the money, on top of the current list I have, is a 14mm 2.8L II. But at 3.3 Grand, it's a bit out of my price range :p

wuffy you ever think about using an f mount adapter or something and using non canon primes?

No need to spend out on expensive USM autofocus stuff for video.
