Thanks Tugboat, Its a magic spot and they've had heaps of rain so the colours in the lichen were jumping

Some things I cooked up at university. They are Zinc Oxide Nanowires which are of interest as they are semiconducting, transparent and have some other useful electrical properties. So could potentially be used in flexible plastic electronics. Hopefully soon I'll be able to make them in patterns and eventually into a transistor. Then hope to turn them into a biosensor but depends how much time I have.

Ahhh - I see now. The link is to your picasa page, not a a specific image. [img] tags only work on a link to a specific image, not to a web page itself. To make it work, you need to right click on the image and grab the image properties - and then put the image tags around that. Like this:

but for the amount of shagging around required I'd just upload a fresh version of the photo to Vorb, then it will never disappear with a broken link.
