Thanks guys. Even with a point and shoot you can still choose the composition of the photograph. When my daughter was born I wanted to take photos of her rather than paying truckloads of money for studio pictures so I went to the library and read lots of books on how to take photos.

I'm going to log in as XCguy and post up a couple of his photos that I really like (I have his permission).

I took this one on a school camp at Living Springs. The sun was just coming up over the hill. I like the colour but the composition isn't quite right. Oh well.
