Cool ride, you got most of my favourite tracks there. Did you manage to ride the high line on that big bermy corner of Leaping Lizard just before it starts winding down into the bush? Was LL very greasy or was it grippy?

Can't remember. LL Was in good condition a part from a couple of massive ruts and over hanging tree branches!!! Who said it's been too wet to ride eh haha

Vic park= . Tracks where running mint, actually spent the afternoon pushing the gambler up rather than lazy arse shuttles for once, wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Belmont -> Baked Beans -> Back down with epic skidz -> Wainui -> Random Trails -> Steak & Chips -> Beer -> Feeling much better.

Out for a sifty one to check out a track with a view to draggin the family out for a ride. Nothing thrilling but nice to be out on the bike for a change, watching the sunset through the trees, and exploring random tracks in the forest is always entertaining.

In at Allington Rd> AMP Connector> RL Ext>Big Toms Wheelie> Magic Carpet> top Koru> Sally Alley> Missing Link> Aratihi to Upper LL> Leaping Lizards> Possum> Nikau valley> Missing link> Aratihi to the summit.

Took longer than I expected (having already started later than I realised), darkness arrived as I reached the top of Aratihi and I hadn't brought my lights so I had to ditch the plan to ride NF> JFK> Smokin> SWIGG & Starfish> Koru> Snakecharmer> Rimu. Instead I just rode down Snakecharmer and up over the Allington Connector 4WD track. Fun ride, what an awesome bike park!

Yesterday I rode up "Goat's Grovel," at long gully as my mate called it. (Trust me, it was named accordingly!)
Then from the dome down Barking Emu>Carparts Extension>carparts>Sawmill>Transient. 40 minute descent! EPIC!

Haha sounds like an awesome ride. I am going to do that loop more now a part from I might try vertigo, RL or NF when i get to the top of aratihi. it might be smart waiting for summer to do vertigo. we'll see

Yesterday:

Karapoti gorge - up Pram track - down Dopers - left up Rimu Rd - Toi Toi Rd - Puketiro Rd - Bullsrun Rd - Birch Spur Rd - Airstrip Drive - Three Skulls Rd - Totara Zig Zag - Massive feed of Fish n Chips at Totara Park shops - Back to Karapoti car park.

After starting the morning with hail and torrential rain the sun burst through and it was a lovely day (and night).

Nice. The ride and the bike.

Sure is. did a similar loop yesterday. Didn't get all the way down LL but I did ULL, down through nikau and up to RL (which i haven't ridden for ages and can't ride properly anymore) D:

had a nice clean descent down a slippering Supplejack - ah bliss. feet touched ground at top to drop seat - and at bottom to put back up.
