Grouse ride today in the pleasant spring sunshine. Up Transient, along Highbury Fling, on the road through K-Town, up Koru, down Lazy Fern, up Parkvale, along Skyline, down Cemetery Trail, back home siftily on the waterfront...over three hours riding in the end. Also saw several Tui, a Kereru and two birds that looked a lot like Kea. :thumbsup:

Another fang at Makara Peak for me - stayed in the trees on the lower slopes to avoid the sun after getting a touch burnt yesterday

Kakas? I sawed some kakas up Makara the other day, was well stoked. There's also a bitchtonne of tuis up there now. I rudely interrupted several who were enjoying a late luncheon at the ridgeline extention picnic area the other day :blush:

yep, my favourite wellington trail, narrow, down hill, no fancy berms, if I can build something like that before I die I will be happy
