In which case I apologise. I probably made things worse rather than better :grim:

No riding for me today, but really enjoyed Kaitlyn's company. We had lunch with my sister, who gave Kaitlyn a new pencil case to start school with tomorrow. It's completely made of zips! 6 per side, in alternating colours and directions :0

As my PhD supervisor once told me, when I was down in the dumps about one theorem or another, "keep your pecker up!"

Last night I rode up to stokes valley, onto the crazy man track up there, around the back and all the way along the top of the ridge line, past the cell-tower and down summit hill road. It was a great ride, 30km all up so that was rather exciting. Good training for Karapoti!

Been riding the local Wainui trails in the rain, it was nice getting soaked through. Get out there and enjoy the conditions...

I had the best ride I've had in ages today. Shot home after work (with a detour to drop off an AWESOME paper plane to my 3 year old nephew) and jumped on the Meta. Up Long Mile and in to Rockdrop, then where it drops out at the bottom a right in to old Rockdrop.

From there out on to the waking tracks to Trig Road and a steep, rutted climb up to the Trig Station. I jumped off the Meta there to explore the bushes - there used to be some rad tracks in this block 10 years ago, but only the retaining features remain (note to self - must instigate tracks in here).

Then down the steep run (steps all the way, a few very tight hairpins through steps) and out the back of Rockdrop again. In to Rosebank, down the face through the stream to Creek Track, then some more sneaky walking tracks to the end of Creek and up to Be Rude Not To. Steamed through there, back up to Exit and home in time for a lamb curry.

I popped 5psi out of the shock prior to heading out and reckon it's about bang on now.

ahhh.

In Wellington for 2 days so headed out early this morning for a ride around Makara.
Left the Ibis at 5:30 to ride to Makara. It was still a little dark so took it easy through Koru.
Then onto Sally alley, Missing Link, Aratahi to the Peak. DOwn Ridgeline, Swigg and Starfish.
Was an awesome mornings ride.
Coming back down Glenmore, Bowen and Whitmore streets we were flying ...
Back to the Ibis by 7:00 in time for Team Breakfast a 8:00.

Mint day for a ride in welly, went up 'dale and down stratton, up the danzig and around and did middle ridge, and then down middle spur back to stratton, from there i rode up the danzig to the top (once again) and went down the DH track and then onto big weta. Gotta love the weta ae! Its a real nice track. Hopefully the weather is just as good to get a bit of riding in once again!

Beautiful night for it.

Started out earlyish on the Blizzard, cruised around to Eastbourne, and followed the 4wd track around till it ended in beach, walked along the beach for about a kilometre, almost cried riding up the Coast Road into a stiff Northerly to Wainui, up Jungle Gym and then back to Days Bay for a family picnic.

Was nice.
