I'm guessing the DH track is Choppers and the other one is Big Weta (which starts about 10m from the green hut and ends next to the gate just up from the woolshed). Would that be right?

Nope, I didn't ride down choppers, that used to be a fairly DH track however since the new ranger has come in he took out all the jumps and the drops as they were deemed "dangerous", now its over grown and I don't think it has been cleared recently. But yeah, big weta sounds right though. I think it may have been the top half of the slide that I rode, but I think its commonly know as the DH track now as that choppers is no longer "Downhill" grade.

Fair enough, just chucked some larsen tt super tacky's on my all rounder, (trying to lighten her up) and my first non highrolling tire since 2001, and I think they are sitting about 24psi.

if i even looked at a corner with only 24psi in my tires they would roll off. i pinch flat on rough chip if i have less than 100 in my roadie tires

Another loop up at Makara with Wahine thrown in as well last night. The legs were way better than Sundays ride. Lots of lovely rain today to settle the dust down up there so all is good

Yeah, the plan was 2 x Climies but sanity prevailed. Turns out to be very trance-inducing blatting along on tarseal. Doofdoof music seems appropriate.

Monday: Wgtn out to Haywards turnoff then Boulder hill + dry creek loop and back. My ride profiles of late have all been ___________/\_____________ not that its been planned that way.

I did a few days in rotorua a few weeks back
I summed up my experiences by stating
"I've found God, he's building single track in rotorua"
