I squeezed in 6 laps of Denton park - turbine - carparts - denton park, before work before finding my way into the city and getting in a quick lap of the mt Vic PNP course.

I decided anything faster than 9 minutes from Denton Park to the turbine is pretty good going.

XC bike got repo'd for the week so I went for a ride up Rapaki and around to Vic park on my singlespeed...........Jump bike. Then spent the rest of the day at the Dirt jumps, got home about 9. I'm tired.

Went out for a spin round Wainui to test my self serviced brakes, did Spoonhill (both 491 & the staircase), Shaun McMillians track and Beeline among others and made it home safe and sound so I can't have done to bad a job on the brakes :)

Hey Scatter where do you head to get to the flying nun? I was up Kennedys yesterday, got to the Summit and wasn't sure where to go from there....

Hey Kel, it's off the road to Worseleys. Climb road, turn around and there a 4WD track about 20m down on the LHS, a wire across it and a sign, climb the 4Wd track for a bit and then on the RHS there is another sign and that's the start.

once you're on the summit rd heading east, just hang a left on the first sealed road you hit (just past a cattlestop), the turn off to get to the top of flying nun is just before the end (if you keep going straight ahead you'll instead head down worsleys)

old bowenvale is surprisingly good in a xc kind of way too! plus you can be fully old school on the 4wd track down to the start of the singletrack
