Did a long loop today 18k or so.

Second pic a bit old school. And out of favour with all the Sam Hill DW fanboi's.

Horse, Hayes Mag and XT.

Up Captain Thomas, out to Godley head and back and down Anaconda on the way back, then over taylors mistake back to Sumner.

The rocky climby bits up CT and the start of Godley were, um, "challenging*" on the SS.

Oh, and big thanks to the guys who cleaned up the track on the way down to breeze col, first time I've ridden it in a while, and I discovered its now full of awesome flowy win! :thumbsup:

Then I got to pick up pizza and a winezor from the ruptured duck on the way home. YUMM!

* I dabbed. Lots.

Today took about 2.5hrs for the ride up, a bit slow cos of the snow and wet rocks and taking pics etc,

however packing overnight gear and having a good time along the way etc you could expect 3(+)hrs

and it would be a great place to party :p

First time on a Mountain Bike in about a month today. Man oh man my fitness has disappeared, but I had a bkoody great ride with some good friends.
Tahi, Creek, Piglet, Pig, Turkish Delight, Exit trail, Genesis, Rockdrop, A-Trail, Tickler, some new and as yet unnamed trail that goes from top of Chinese Menu down to red-tank - awesome new trail, Dipper and finished off with Rosebank.

I nailed a drop down into a fire road, last time i attemped it I managed to drive my head into tyhe turf...so thats progression :thumbsup:

:thumbsup:

Awesome morning for it. Every time I go near flying nun there seems to be another new bit of track, and awesome track at that. And I'm getting back into my grooooove. :)
