Rode around Takapuna/Milford tonight, in the shitty rain.

Startedat smales farm to milford beach along that track to Takapuna beach (the bits that were passable) then along takapuna beach and round the back to smales farm, effectively the around Lake Pupuke lap.

Today went for a ride up the grampians.
Went up Kaihikatea, took a few pictures at the top, decided that I didnt like Kahikatea so went down Fuscia instead. End result :) :). Made a good choice.

Went up Makara today - trails in really good condition given the ammount of rain we have had!
Up Koru then Sally Alley thru to Missing Link, we avoided Artihi as ive been told that its pretty slow going with the clay, but climbed up to Leaping Lizard on the 4WD track. This is where the saddle was lowered and the smiles began
Wet, slippery, rutted, rocks... all those things you really love in a decent... but then the climb out from the bottom to the road.. oh well, still had a BIG smile on my face.

At least i didnt waste a day not riding...

I scooped the holeshot to be the first rider to go down the new route of 'I.V. Line.' Beat the rain - but it was still slippery.
Emano x5 yesterday.

Just a quick spin down through town, over mt vic, and around the south coast. And tomorrow we're off up into the akatarawa ranges, where it will be both wet and muddy.

Mmmm....wet and muddy
