Just been up and rode the comglomeration of Richmond tracks. Starting from the one at the trig (right hand side of firebreak) then crossing over and reclimbing to do some of the others. Great day for it.
Few questions onyabike. What are the names of the tracks picturered? Looks like it could second one could be escalator. Where do you mean by the trig? Up lookout road (one with cellphone mast) or up the road that walters wiggles and co is on. I have ridden lost time, wiggles, terminus, escalator and lodestone but want to try a few more tracks up there but have no idea where to go. I know there is a track before terminus but dont know how to get to the start. Oh and is there any useful maps.
Cheers
last night, shit on the Tv so rode the Blenheim MTB park track by my lonesome.
Real nice ride, weather is unusally warm at the mo.
Got to top, then dropped down the gully track(technical run)...yeah nailed it.
Thanks for the texts today Andrew. Was so cool - was sitting at work, then my phone goes and reminds me that Rotorua, riding, and life in general is out there. WOOT.

Went on another early morning ride up Makara today Weeeeee! SWIGG and Starfish are fun at the moment (and yes, I was careful not to skid up the tracks )
Round the Wither hills for me today. Went along the Mapp track to the far eastern end, then up to the top of Mt Vernon, the traverse and back down through the MTB park, then round the bottom of the hills back to town. It's been a while since I did this, nice to see that people have done so much riding on the sheep trails next to the 4wd track most of the way round, that its turning into some quite neat singletrack.
Unfortunately, I discovered that due to a combination of bad weather, pies and birdflu, the last month has turned me into a cream puff, and I am weak like a kitten from teh ORLY thread.
