I am in agreeance that The Wrestler is excellent. Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei were brilliantly cast.

If you're expecting it to be the Radio Hauraki story then I think the british accents might be a bit of a shock :lol:

(it's based on Radio Caroline, broadcasting from the North Sea in the 60s. Apparently was the inspiration for Hauraki though...)

Went and saw 3D Aliens vs Monstors last night with the Kids, the 3D effects are really cool.
Worth seeing for that alone,
Movie wasnt bad either.

Yeah I cringe when I see/hear them. It's like... the worst comedy ever... I don't get it at all. HOW did they get a movie? Who are all these people who go to see it/buy their albums? What the fuck is going on?

Agreed. The ending let it down ever so slightly, but overall a very good movie.

Another great rental is Zombie Strippers. It's shamelessly B grade, it's got pole dancing zombies and it's only half as dumb as it sounds. Be sure to watch it with your partner/kids/grandmother/first date. Actually, don't do that.
