I  Brendon Gleeson flics, the man is dry as hell, funny as shit. In Bruges is another good movie of his, even Colin Farrell was a laugh.

I love In Bruges. So many stupid quotes that are utterly mundane out of context. :p

I watched "dawn of the planet of the apes" when it was on TV the other day. Stunning CGI, but it actually had some storyline to it. Shallow of me I know, but I spent much of the movie switching side from rooting for the monkeys (apes) to rooting for the humans.

Watched the first episode of Archer on Netflix the other night - not sure who recommended it on here ages ago (possibly HDC so must've been aaaages ago)? Bits of it had me in stitches, I can see me going on a binge in the near future.

Do this. It is brilliant, and gets better/more fucked up as it goes on :)

He is wise. I have probably watched the entire thing through 25 times... it's my go-to put on while doing housework or sick show :)

Watched "Into the Badlands" on my last flight back from work - would recommend it, even though I am not into martial art type stuff it is well done and I can't wait for season 2

Watched Crimson Peak, it's definitely a Del Toro movie, good if you like his style (I do) but could be frustrating ifif you don't.
More similar to Il Orphanto or Pans Labyrinth than Pacific Rim or the Hellboys.

Also most of the way through Fargo season 1, good times. Makes me want to watch the film again for comparison.

It is a guilty pleasure of mine. It is humour is stupid and puerile and targeted at boys with the emotional maturity of a teenager. Which, excepting the Vorbettes, describes most of the people on Vorb!
C'mon Rik, It is an easy watch, 20-25mins per episode. Just make there are no children around when it's on.

As for me, I have just started watching "Preacher". It's pretty good so far although it too early to tell how faithful to the comics it will be.
