I've been curious about this. So I already have a VOIP setup and essentially unlimited phone data (simply can't get through it). Why can't I setup VOIP on my cell so I can effectively answer/make office calls from the cell?

I've tried googling for solutions but clearly I'm missing a few buzz words.

Any sip client on your cellphone should do the trick. Should be able to use the same settings you use for your home connection.

Unless your provider has done some kind of stupid 'lock to this IP only' type crap. In which case, ask them to fix it

I used a sip client on my cellphone to use the 2talk minutes. I dont think it was quite as good call quality as through the router, but as good as skype.
