Yeah I'm pretty hyped, I watched the live stream thingy some stuff I picked up from it

weapon customization like bf4 etc is in but more in depth

horses are ridable and controllable in some additional way I'm guessing this means you can make them kick and bite etc

bayonets are a thing for ganking people, melee combat designed to be a viable close option

maps wont be as big as the larger bf4 ones (golmud) but more suited to the combat style. I'm guessing more zavod/caspian sized maps

different size tanks, small, med, large. The biggest one can fit a whole squad into it

battleships etc all controllable

campaign still a thing but designed more to emulate the multiplayer lols

There needs to be epic Triplane vs Sopwith Camel battles with machine guns blowing the shit out of wooden and fabric wings,

So this footage finally got me mad hyped for doom, single player on a pc and it is at ramming speed like I wanted. Stoked to see a demo of something other than a controller. Recording is a bit chody but you get the idea




So dead island and dead island riptide remakes are coming out. On pc if you own the non remade ones they are 3.60 each lol.

I wasnt expecting much of an upgrade thinking it would be mainly focused on getting them running on the new consoles then I compared the relative requirements between dead island and the remake


All onboard with this now, coop dead island and riptide is some of the funnest gaming I've ever had, they play amazingly well coop given the rest of the game felt a little bit average

Been playing Doom single player and its fun as fuck. Awesome pacing, guns all feel solid. No vagueness in the controls. The executions are fast and fluid feeling. Level design is spot on, big old maze styles like doom1 and 2. All the upgrade/challenge mechanics are nice, micro missiles on the heavy assault rifle is my jam.

650Ti SSC 1GB.

Plenty RAM and CPU to go round.

The pc specs are for 1080p iirc, the consoles res scale up and down to keep frame rates up with them sitting down to 720p etc a bunch of time. I expect you would actually be okay with a bunch of the video options turned down but it would depend on your frame rate tolerances. I've got a 4gb 770 and I'm sitting around 60-90fps with most of the settings on medium and with the AA turned down, still looks damn nice. My cpu only ever gets to around 50% usage (2500K@4.2ghz). Might be wqrth a poke around to see if you can find what someone with similar specs is running at.

yes the amount of automatics is not realistic to what was deployed but meh its a game, all bolt action dying in a trench would not make for a fun game
