Realising that Oli's avatar is actually a medal on a shirt, rather than some strange jamican moose cartoon between two flags…

i'm having to look REALLY hard to see that, dude!

and oli, feels really good. out of the seat i can feel my glutes (hur hur) having to work, that didn't happen before. it's amazing how "still" i feel while riding. haven't done any km's (waiting for new kit) hopefully later this week.

Two things make me go w00t today...

The lovely Oli fixing my bent bike seat :)

And whoever made up the linux command grep - makes life so much easier when you don't have to trawl through thousands of lines of code to find what you're looking for

(Apparently grep is a Vulcan word - means "find".... It's true!! :paranoid: http://www.linux.org/lessons/beginner/l9/lesson9b.html )

the truth is much more geeky than even that :

The name, "grep", derives from the command used to perform a similar operation, using the Unix text editor ed:

g/re/p
which means "search globally for lines matching the regular expression, and print them".

personally I always wished Unix has a grok command to with all the other goodies (grep, sed and of course my fave - awk)

Oh that's disappointing!! I was quite liking the Vulcan origin!! :D
