That IS awesome. thats like here in Chch, i see them on the way to work occasionally, and recently finally saw one in our kowhai tree in our front yard this year in Richmond. they've been getting further east in chch, slowly, each year, and in the last couple they've been just down the road.
same with Bellbirds, finally heard one in the local neighbourhood taking the 6yr old to school the other morning. wicked!
