What gearing ratio would others recommend for a single speed that will be used for dirt jumping, street, skatepark and a bit of xc?

Wanting something that will be relatively easy.

A 2:1 ratio or 32:16 (should be 16:32) is a good start.

for dj street 2:1 is the best
i run that but the only xc i do is getting from jump track to jump track at woodhill though...
if you want for xc 1.75 to 1 is better but its waaaay to easy for other stuff

KeeWee Stealth, small frame. Rides really nice, but am looking for smaller shocks. Plush ones. Recommendations for trail/jump/dh?

Here's my single speed. It now weighs 10.5 kg which probably aint that good but it is 2 kg lighter than it was. The steel frame rides really smooth. Currently running a 32:15 ratio because i'm not wanting to wreck my knees on hills. Will be used at McLeans, Bottle Lake etc.

Original from trademe complete with stand, guards and slicks. Mint paint. Reputed to have never been off road.

Stage 1 was basic stuff ripping off parts & fitting MTB tyres. 15 minutes of time :-)

Stage 2 was removing small chain ring, fitting tensioner, removing cassette, cutting off the shifters

Stage 3 to follow will be (maybe) lighter wheels, seat post, stem, bars, seat etc
