Here's one of my new Jeffson SS cromolly frame (Kiwibikes). The frame is originally a Diamond Back Apex from back-in-the-day chopped and cleaned by Jeff Anderson at Kiwibikes. Look at the chain tension, mmmmm. I am using a 34 tooth eNvy chainring on the front (smallest one I could get that would fit my vintage - circa 1993 - cranks) and a 19 tooth rear bmx cog a friend had in his workshop.

Yeah - he fair chopped it. The forks in the photo are dialed right in (80mm) which is how I had them on my old frame and it makes the angle look a bit crazy. The bike is handling fine with them dialed right out to 120mm which is way more than the frame (pre cut) was designed for.

All up the frame was a little over $500 for the head angle cut, drop outs, disc mounts, paint and original frame.

Hey we got our digi cam working.... here is the litespeed in SS format.

its presently being rebuilt with forks and gears, and I have a couple of options for a new trailbike SS...

You'll see I was paranoid about ever forgetting to take the 15mm spanner with me, so much so that its zip tied to el framo.

of course if I forgot to take a knife to cut the zip ties I was just as fucked..... :D
