I like those, do camping grounds have a height restriction though??

Years ago friends of my parents had bunk bed stretchers for the kids, I'd love to locate some nowadays would save a lot of space eliminating even one bed.

Ive seen bunks in Kathmandu last season.

Shame, where's the bach/crib? Always a sad day when a family ends up selling off a bach. They're such a gem to have.

Coastal Otago. Just up from the Catlins. Good spot, but not freehold, plus trying to get the three brothers to co-ordinate and manage it is like herding cats.

It is what it is. Not that stoked, but you've gotta be practical about it.

makes sense, ... i'm sorry for your loss.

my sensible uncle told my folks not to leave our family bach to all of us (3) kids, cos it just leads to trouble for all of us, so they announced a few years back that they're leaving it to me(yay!) - my sis lives in Melbs and my bro's never been that into the place. Its only just over an hour from here, so's pretty handy. My kids are now getting the same holidays i had growing up...

Doesn't work for everyone, my father in law built a cabin with his father but after his dad died his mum left it to his brother and he (and his family) didn't get to use it. Created a lot of bad blood.

Just not all kids are equal in their parents eyes. There was years of history but put a real nail in the coffin.
