No basket, binoculars or telecopes required though. There is an observatory close by as well as plenty to see and learn with the naked eye.

All welcome - Astronomy camp at Stonehenge Aotearoa. -Two day public event ~ can come and go as you like ~ concessions for children, students or one day pass. -Presentations and workshops on astrophotography and astronomy related topics. -Family friendly ~ ancient Maori starlore story telling inside the circle after dark -Big screen for the rubgy. -Camping is available at Carterton Holiday Park ~ a short drive or bike ride away.
