:blush: No basket, binoculars or telecopes required though. There is an observatory close by as well as plenty to see and learn with the naked eye.

Since my last post has been wiped...possibly as it didn't have enough bike content...here it is again.

All welcome - Astronomy camp at Stonehenge Aotearoa.
-Two day public event ~ can come and go as you like ~ concessions for children, students or one day pass.
-Presentations and workshops on astrophotography and astronomy related topics.
-Family friendly ~ ancient Maori starlore story telling inside the circle after dark
-Big screen for the rubgy.
-Camping is available at Carterton Holiday Park ~ a short drive or bike ride away.
