On my way down, through the hairpin at about 35-40, someone in a white station wagon passed me on the inside

On my way down, through the hairpin at about 35-40, someone in a white station wagon passed me on the inside- imagine my surprise when I looked a bit more closely and saw the cop lights and cop electronics all over the dashboard. I'd have thought passing people on the inside of hairpin turns probably wasn't a very good example to be setting .... But I can't complain too much because I've been known to to exactly the same thing, and because he did leave a tonne of room (well over the required 1.5m). Just gave me a bit of a surprise is all.

Just as well he wasn't a real dick, he could have pulled you over for not staying in your lane!
