Here Is The Focus Killer Bee Frame We Got Made Up

Postby YetiMAn on Tue 11/Apr/06 6:34pm

We struck it lucky in that the length from the back sprocket to the front sprocket was perfect and we dont need a tensioner. Running a 32:16

Thudbuster being that fancy seat post :eh:

Looks much like what I am planning on building up, though that gearing looks a little (lot) tall for me  and I prefer rim brakes :paranoid:

how long are those cranks Clarkster?
Also how do you find the disc brake on front with V on back. I was thinking of doing this but dont trust my brain to be able to differentiate the modulation for each hand.

Cranks are 175mm, driving a 44:18.

Your brain automatically controls how much your fingers brake - not by squeeze pressure - but by how much you're slowing down. I've set up a couple of bikes this way with no worries. :)

Ok. But my brain is terrible at multi-tasking. Hence my anxiety.

That ratio seems pretty core, is it a commuter or something? Or is that your preferred off-road ratio? If so Im very impressed
