That seat is as high as it can go, but its still way to low to ride comfortably, and I am a wee bastard. The frame is also tiny.

Also, this may be for sale for around $100 with rigid forks in the near future if anyone is keen. Or AgrAde may claim it.

is it totally necessary to have a tensioner on a singlespeed or can u just tighten up the chain?

If you have vertical drop outs you will generally 90% off the time need a tensioner.

If you horizontal or adjustable drop outs you can tenstion the chain by moving the hub further away from the bottom bracket.

1988 or 89 Specialized rockhopper comp frame with the very first generation Rockshocks

just changed to a lower and shorter stem and put my proper single speed gears on it so hopefully it has sorted the chain derailment under powerwhile at speed issue it was suffering .
still has the 1 inch head tube in it. havnt decided if i will get Kiwibikes to put a 1 1/8 tube in or just get some 1 inch rigid forks for it, i dont think the RS-1s will last all that much longer, and i want to put discs on one day too
