I once fell over the bars at slow speed, landed flat on my back with a root in my kidneys, gave myself internal bleeding (but didn't realise it), and spent a week without being able to crap. :angry:

A bit uncomfortable is how I would describe the incident...

Handlebars clipped a tree, was beside a huge washout on the trail. Fell about 6m on to rocks. Smashed my helmet too, which caused my eyes to bleed. .

It's been a busy couple of years for me and the physio, but no gore to show.

Ouch. Hope it's a quick recovery.

In Feb I smashed my knee hard enough to bash a hole in the cartilage on the back of the kneecap. Off work, haven't been able to do anything since. Got an appt with a specialist on Friday to see what we do from here.
