A very dirty negative, and I missed focus, but my first attempt at 4x5 waterdrop photography. CMS 20 is astounding film - Pretty much no perceptible grain. I need to get more room to move, so that I can actually work on the focus and lighting, but all of this is intended to build up to shooting on Velvia 50...

A couple of test shots whilst trying to get the timing and trajectories right. First is with water and 2 drops from 1 valve (2 flashes), and second is with water into milk, with 2 drops from 2 valves (3 flashes)...

Weird as beach with the grooming! I seem to recall the water there is surprisingly cold.

Bought myself some trays and tongs at the $2 shop and briscoes. Next to order some chemistry and I'll be ready to setup the room as a darkroom.

Daughter and I are heading over for a road trip in Far North Vietnam later this month, and we'll have 35mm / 6x6cm / 4"x5" with us. All film, except for Leica Monochrom. Should be fun (and wet, and muddy).

In a return to my normal subject matter, here's a few I took at Pukekohe a few weeks back.
Experimenting with slower shutter speeds than I have before, and trying to make the catch fencing a feature rather than an obstacle.
