i did this last week for an order i had sitting for a while, now motivated to finish the project so pulled the trigger (and got a few other bits to bring it up to free shipping)

i meant to check in with Rik to see if it worked or not

care to confirm, Rik?

Depends how old your basket was?

It works thusly: You click on one of the vorb links that sends you to whoever, they then store a cookie on you machine that last s for 30 days. When you make a purchase and so long as you have the cookie we get the credit :D.

So if 30 days have passed since you last clicked on a vorb link or you don't allow cookies or run adware or anti marketing software that deletes marketing cookie we DON'T get credited :(

If you PM me the total value of your order I can check that we got the credit (or I might just tell your other half how much your really spending on bike stuff :satan: )

Busy day of online shopping, hoping the NZD crashes soon as I need to pull some money from overseas to pay for everything!

New shoes from T7, found a $90 loyalty credit after buying a bike (had to do over phone so don't think Vorb gets anything for that unfortunately)

Gloves, pedals, chain tool, grips and roof rack from CRC.

Thule Proride 598s are instock and only $148 atm

What do you guys think about buying a dropper post online/overseas?

Would save about $200 but would make any warranty claims difficult for a part that has a reputation of dying a lot. Basically, buying local is like paying $200 for a warranty on a $400 part.

I bought a gravity dropper straight from the manufacturer as my LBS took over a month to order it in form me (only saved about $70), it broke and I had no warranty problems.

If you think you are going to need a warranty then you should probably buy something different.

Depends who you buy from - I had a light break that I'd bought off CRC. They were no worries and just sent me a new one.

I'm waiting for the courier to arrive with my giant dropper...
Ordered from T7, so online but not overseas.

Cheap as chips, 150mm drop, and cable actuated.

They used to be.
3 usual lengths, and a proper 2 Bolt head now.

Remember to use the vorb link though if you're buying. (pretty sure I managed to do my purchasing properly this time)

Saw this and thought, meh, I've never seen a dropper post for "cheap as chips" money. WRONG, $239 is feck cheap.
AND..

Check out the remote for the FUNN Updown dropper,(also $239) that is exquisitely machined.
