Just breathe on it a little for now. Really a stop gap measure to get wheels turning again. The budget for new turbo/manifold/everything else I'd like to do has been taken up by baby child things.

Better to have a bit slower car that runs than the supposedly turbo dust collector it's been for the last 14 months.

Yes! By memory they had a complex decompressor arrangement.

The variant they used in (Italian) zeppelins had compressed air start.

De-panelling the body is an intergalactic dive into a restoration.

I like the outcome it is something anyone would love to have in the garage
The engine stand was cool. But with all this fantastic work by Wellington panelbeaters and it being in NZ why didn't he make it RHD?

I was looking at the LHD headers and wondering why until I realised it was, it is a lot of effort to go to and not convert it or use a lighter motor if he wants handling.
