Crappy subjects in crappy light with failing eyesight, but I'm celebrating a new point & shoot with a new piece of glass.
My eyes (and aesthetic competency) are definitely the weak point with this little duet.

I took some not-quite-so-exciting shots on my way home from work last night. Failing light, eyesight, and technique made for poor focusing, but this lens is as sharp as a really sharp knifey thing. Botanic descriptions included...

Hmmm, my shots look crappy on here. I think I need to re-look at how I convert to downloadable jpg's. Rob and Tugboat's linked photo's always look uber-grouse.

I use photoshops save to web at 95% convert to sRGB and bicubic sharper reduction to 1200px

If you've got the Google/Nik suite then sharpener pro (in output sharpener mode) is pretty good for generating screen sized optimised output too

given you now get the whole suite for what just HDRefex used to cost it's an amazingly good deal (hell, it's worth it just for silverefex)

Silver Efex is, indeed, great.
I finally got a chance to take some photo's in daylight today (What a novel concept). I went for a wander around Jurong Bird Park. I really like this camera /lens combo. I had my Canon with me, but hardly used it.
