They are cool, Sifter, although I suspect the Shanghai shot was photoshopped - Visibility's never been more than 100ft when I've been there

Excellent pictures of Tahlay, Eoin. Most people are happy to be good at stills or action.

Could Shanghai be based on an infrared shot?

I bet that site trolls the comments itself, hoping to get new registrations from people who can't help joining in with the mongery.

... I live here and believe me that is NOT what Cape town looks like from any angle whosoever. It is totally photo shopped as I can clearly see now, they all are !! very clever artwork but definitely not real..

Dubai is not real. They don't have all those island built out yet.

they do!

I live here (in Dubai) Rola. they don't.

It is not a rendered image. 2 out of those three islands not only are complete but businesses and resident have moved in while the third is complete in terms of land reclamation but retail construction hasn't finished. I'm not just saying this since I actually have been there a few times!!

It's a rendering, you are a muppet

Saad C16 days ago
Yes, Number 4 is a rendered image. I live in Dubai.
They're getting there slowly, but not there yet.

If you actually look it up, theses islands in Dubai are real.

Raf None13 days ago
You are either ignorant or blind... Or both

Ally G15 days ago
They're real...but they're not anywhere near finished. ... The only completed island is Palm Jumeirah (the smaller palm) and the other have either stopped development completely or have been scaled down.
Palm Deira (on the right) just recently began construction again after being on hold since 2008. And it is going to be a LOT smaller.
The world islands have begun falling back into the sea and don't look anything like the picture.
And, as far as I know, the symbol of Islam, the moon and star, were only on the first small island before they halted construction (though I haven't look that one up recently).

If areas like Niagara falls were made deeper..wouldn't that help with the worlds flooding...
(sadly, discussion followed)

It is worthwhile mentioning that the earth is not actually overpopulated, as is popularly believed. See www. overpoopulationisamyth .com.

Susan Owen15 days ago
I heard just this past week that every person on Earth would be able to have a 1/2 acre of land in a area that is only about the size of Southern Utah to the seashore of California to the boarder with Mexico. Granted, not all of that is really productive land.
The point being there is an abundant amount of Earth for all the current inhabitants and more.

... what about the wildlife?...

Gasta Bem13 days ago
You're an idiot. The entire United States is a bit more than 2.4 billion acres. There are about 7 billion people. If you gave everyone a half acre, that's 3.5 billion acres. Why don't stupid people keep their inanities to themselves.

(Followed by more inanity)
