Anyone caught the aurora in Wellington?

I went out to Red Rocks tonight for a look (and with a fancy camera on tripod all set up so I only had to turn it on, point it at the sky and press go) but couldn't see a thing!

I dont think there was much of a storm going on. So little (indicated activity) I didnt even head out.

Of course thats when its most likely to happen. I've managed to spectacularly miss all the aurora this year in style, sometimes by as little as 10 minutes.

Fingers crossed for more satellite frying CME's this month...
