Dat's right. Tintin au Congo was a very Coloniafile piece of work, before Herge developed a slightly more worldly view. Tintin is popular in Pointe Noire, though, and people get their kids' names added to these paintings (which is why the "Tintin" is missing). I just got back from there this morning, after a long haul via Paris yesterday.

Pointe Noire is a good place - I liked it.

Bay of plenty coast, just out from whakatane, thats whale island on the left of the pics.
