Will a campag wheel and 10 speed cassette work with dura ace 7800 everything else? (apart from breaking cultural taboos)

Got a set of old 36s on a tardme bike the other day.
Seller failed to mention the dents in the left lower, one featuring a small crack...

I'll be hitting him up about this, but in the meantime - any idea of retail on 36 lowers?
& will modern 160mm lowers play nice with old 150mm uppers?

The crack has been sealed up with some kind of bodge an doesn't appear to be leaking.
Have let all the air out and bottomed the fork and can't feel any scraping on the dents/stanchions - but aside from potential leakage (doubtless causing near-simultaneous fork and brake malfunction = mad crash) anything else to look out for/do?

A bit rambly, but I've never opened Fox forks and have no real ideas here... Seller says he's been riding them for a few years in this condition - likely fine (if the crack is watched) or munted from internal scrapage?

Looks to be shuttle rash that has been filled with Kneed-It or similar product

Unsure on fox lower pricing, but current lowers should work fine,as the longer travel on the 160 forks is more likely to have come from changes in the uppers rather than changes to lowers

before spend coin on lowers I would be checking out the condition of the uppers, looking for damage caused by contaminated foam rings, damaged dust wipers or rooted bushes, as these forks must be 6 or 7 years old?

I would also be very carefully going over the rest of the bike, to ensure that there aren't any more time bombs, ie hubs with to-tight cones (to hide hub wear) rooted drive train, cracked frame parts, suspension bushings with damaged or home made replacement parts, suspension adjusters that function (both in terms of moving levers, but also that the adjusters offer meaning-full adjustment in function)

Its bikes and sellers like this that have really put me off second hand, other than from people I know / trust, or that people I know trust

Yeah, had though there'd be a video out there, but my meaning behind

was to ask if the inner side of the dents is likely to be chewing the lower stanchions or other bits, not keen to pop 'em open till after a little more communication with the seller - and some kind of resolution.

Have made my way around most of the rest of the bike, seems in fair condition for it's age. New wheels were on the cards anyway, and the rear suspension seems well behaved (propedal, rebound and air all as normal - not tested the bottom-out adjust in the lounge) the front reducer is a bit worn, but no other rattles.

Any more advice much appreciated.

Next option, am I right in thinking its possible to replace the campy free hub on a set if shamals with a shimano fit free hub. They seem to sell the shamals with a shimano freehub.
Is it going to be the same as the fulcrum freehub?
Thanks

Can bearings in PF30 be knocked out of shell and replaced with BB30 bearings?

Do you mean out of the PF30 cup?

I wouldn't do it, as I imagine you'd end up damaging the PF30 cup, and the frame would then have a creak or squeek

But yes the bearings are generally the same in a PF30 cup, as standard BB30 bearings
