Miramar. Few runs. Really don't agree with that track in the wet. Binned it good on that left hander near the top that drops quite a bit. Sore. Had fun hucking the rock drop with no style as usual

Spent over a week visiting my Bro in Wanaka. Took the bike and the Dude turned up after a few days. Rode Sticky Forest, Deans bank and had a great day shuttling in Queenstown - huge berms and awesome flow.

The highlight was a 60 k circuit of the Old Man Range, central otago. We did it the opposite way from the guide book (41 south island rides). The first 14 k's took nearly four hours as it was basically bike pushing up steep rutted 4wd for 1300 metres. Slow hot work in perfect sunny conditions. Once on the top though we covered the rest in just over three hours. Highlights include being buzzed by a NZ falcon, huge rock formations, flat desolation and a 1200 metre downhill. After taking so long to do the initial climb it was amazing just how fast and awesome a modern mountain bike is in these isolated areas.

Rode the Screaming-O this morning. Had intentions of stopping frequently to take photos but the course was too much fun and I forgot after a while. A very well run event and an absolute treat to get access to normally off-limits DOC/private land.

Definitely "O" for orsome
