Those are looking mighty fine. There's plenty of good photo's to be had from a point-and-shoot.

Mmmm, Sp'way! I used to enjoy Friday Night Sp'way at Claremont (Now an affluent suburb) in Perth.

Nice composition, TLW.

Thanks for the comments, although they come across overly dark on the interwebby. I had a bit of trouble with the KFC Kat, and didn't quite get what I wanted. I had an 85mm lens and was up against parked cars trying to get him in the shot. By the time I'd jostled my way through some people, the Kat had stopped looking at the sign and had closed his / her eyes. I did catch Mama inside yawning, though. What was neat then was that a young couple went in, and didn't shut the door, which was the opportunity the Kat was looking for. He / she was a true professional in the saunter inside, walking straight up as if joining the queue.

This! I just printed 7 shots I took from my trip to NZ in 2005 (wow, holy crap it was 2005?) with my old digital elph. Yeah, I wish I had a better camera at the time, but no complaints with the results!

Cheers for the links Eoin.

Jay Beckman (Crosswinds) and Jeff Welker both regularly post stunning shots on the Canon forums (photography-on-the.net).

Wow Tugboat! Especially like the Harvard(s) shot - looks amazingly sharp.
Vampire is cool too. I'm just off to flickr to see what other gems you got!
