Sounds bloody brilliant to me! The old coal fired machine I used for all my editing took about an hour for three minutes of rendered standard def footage

Oh ok.. no complaints from me then.. i7 does the trick nicely then

For me a 720p HD 24p Mpeg Video, generally about 3-4mins long takes roughly 20-30 minutes. Not too bad. I don't really care about exporting times, as I can do other stuff. But for me I do a lot of in-sequence rendering and colour-correcting etc so faster rending is more helpfull there.

Separate prizes for "the human touch" and "taste of kiwi" (as well as overall greatness etc), so fingers crossed these are both relevant :butbut:

BAM - heard yesterday that I took out the "taste of kiwi" prize for No 8 wireless. $500 cash prize, not bad for an hour of mucking around :D

Saw the IPENZ calendar around at my folks place yesterday. All pretty good photos. Yours looks good in print.

True? I must try and get back to the office and pick mine up sometime!
Still a bit pissed about the epic cropping that they did to it - but I'm sure I'll get over it... Will be cool to see it in print anyway

Nice one wuffy.

If I was being critical I'd say still a bit much sloooooowwwwwww mmmmmmmooooooooooo for me.
Generally well timed with the music though. But at 1:50 (ish) the music ramps up but then you go into sllooooowwwwwwww mmmmmmmoooooo agian, which doesn't fit so well. Loved the timing at about 2:15 though - catchy and well done.

Good effort. I'd give you an A-
