Indeed it was.
We got there at 10, took it leisurely up the access road and smashed it back to the carpark for a bbq.
Not a bad idea that :)
The Luge just makes me w00t all over the show

We did bump into a quick group where one of them went to meet his mrs at Arthur's Pass after he got to the bottom.
On a bike.

Fairly decent ride yesterday in windy Wellington!

Mt Vic > Ridgeline > Across town > Up Transient to the top of the wind turbine > Carparts > Roller coaster > Roots

Good to see someones giving the jumps on roller coaster some pre summer loving, but man those things need a down ramp.

Grand Loop at Makara > Salvation > Scout Hall > Gold Mine > Roller coaster > Carparts > Carparts extn > Red Rocks > karori.

Good fun, but ripped me front tyre heading down the new descent to Red Rocks... plenty of sharp rocks on that track! Booted the tyre with a few leaves, and tubed it before limping back home via town.

Another nice day to be out.

Someone shat in my nest from a great height at work today - so I needed to let off stream

The commute home was through town to Aro Valley, Transient, Highbury Fling, around the north side of the Sanctuary to Wrights Hill, Salvation (rather than Deliverance 'coz there had been some nana riding and I was on the hardtail), fang around Makara Peak until dark, Subway Karori, slow plod home.

4 & 1/2 hours. Legs are fooked.

Happy.

Czeching out what Dunedin has to offer. Yesterday Whare flat and today Bethunes. I had clearly forgotten how wet Dunedin riding is. Slippery slippery fun.
