Yeah... Goodwill footbridge across the Brisbane River between QUT and the Botanic Gardens and the Maritime Museum / Southbank.

This one's from Lone Pine in Brisbane. Wedgetail Eagle, biggest bird of prey in Australia...

Poor wittle birdy needed a snack after being harangued firstly by a nasty magpie and then by this crow...

Nice shot with the magpie. Size is not always might.
I've heard of people getting swooped on by those when riding during nesting season.
Not sure if I believe them or not, but surely the easiest way to stop it from happening is to take the road kill off your helmet.

I have just returned home from Australia - at the South Australia Museum there was the ANZANG competition exhibition. We bought the book  it was rad.

Hey Woodsy - I reckon you should think about it for next year ;)

Rejigged this one in Photomatix Pro by tonemapping 5 different exposures (+-1 stop each)... quite happy with how it turned out.

Tararua weekend with the 60D - I love the tilt/swing LCD screen for tripod work and am stoked to be able to use all controls easily with mitts and overmitts.

Some tonemapped pics from a recent trip to the States. I'm not usually a fan of HDR/tonemapping, but the dynamic range was way more than the camera could handle, and tbh I'm happy that these are pretty representative of what I could see with the naked eye. The Grand Canyon one, if anything, is undersaturated, you wouldn't believe the colours there at sunset, the whole place glows pink.

Nice work with the icicles Fango
WH, Nice stuff, the only time I made it to the Grand Canyon it was snowing a blizzard. The snow held up for a few minutes to some shots and then set in again making it to fnnn cold.

I have been improving a bit, loving my 70-200mm lense, its kick arse!

Tomorrow I head out to Pukekohe for a weekend of motorsports photoraphy. Rented a 400mm lense for the weekend, its bloody heavy. Great to have actual accreditation so able to stand in the good spots.

That's because a droid don't tear people's arms off when they lose - a Wookie's been known to do that...

Lego shots are fun to do when the weather is utter shite....
