Here are a couple I posted a week or so ago, but have altered the lighting levels, these were taken from the back of my place just before 11:00PM during a full moon, 60 sec exposure.

Has anyone had experience with either of the following lenses? Are there any other options i should be looking at for a crop body?

Sigma 70-200 f2.8
Canon 70-200 f4 L (non is)
Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4.5

I'm looking at a line up the will happily handle weddings and motorsport/equestrian/MTB events and have about 2k to spend.

I'd have thought the Canon 24-70 f2.8 L would be better for weddings. You could get that for about 2k shipped from asia. IS model is rumored to be released really soon too...
With motorsport etc IS is a great advantage.
I use the Canon 15-85 IS USM a fair bit and love it. Perhaps consider that too.

Im a big fan of my 70-200L f4... I sometimes wish I had longer distance, like the 100-400L - but if I did splooge on one of those I would keep the 70-200 for walking around. I have it complimented with the 18-40 f4 L or whatever it is, and a 50mm prime... Seems to be a good collection so far

Hey, just found a few of my photos posted on various websites and in a press release without any permission given or credit/acknowledgement. Do I have any rights to ask for these to be removed? What are the things I can do to stop this happening in the future?

Yeah that's pretty poor form. The comment you've posted on the blog is a pretty good start but I'd email "cease and desist" instructions as well if you can. I'm all for helping out riders promote themselves but they need to start with a bit of courtesy by asking if they can use an image first. Other option is to watermark every image you post online - and stick copyright info into the metadata.

Start watermarking your photos. Lightroom makes this really easy.

On Flickr it depends on how you post them. If you make them public then you accept they are pretty much free to use. There are other parts of flikr where you can protect your pics and retain ownership blah blah blah.

There is probably very little you can do for photos used to date, but I agree with watermarking and tagging the metadata, also look for the usage rights stuff in flickr. The good thing you can take from this now is to use their article for your own promotion as a photographer!!! I would be honoured if people stole my photo's for production!
