I understand that levin is constantly being logged (at the moment) but i was woundering wether there is anyway of making an often trailer day there?

I live in palmy and my only local dh track is k loop which is alrite but when it comes to shuttling (its impossible) because there is no road going up.
apparantly k loop (kahuterawa) is getting logged to make a accessible 4 wheel drive track for shuttling... however this project is gona take 3 yrs if it goes ahead.

does anyone have any info on any upcoming trailer days at levin? or wether anything is going to be done about starting them up again?..
cus its a great track and a big hill to push up

the club here in palmy should start doing trailler days and leivn or wanga's i think cause, were not really going to be able to ride kloop and then once they've logged it will have to build new tracks.

Mate it's all very well saying that "the club in palmy should do...." but we can't get anyone from the DH fraternity to come onboard and make it happen!

Would you organise a xc race and rides for us please? .....I don't think so.

Get one or two of you boys onto the committee THEN form a sub committee (which we've already tried to make happen) and DO IT!!!!

PS Join in the Club Development nights, head down to Paneiri Park on Wed nights (from 28th October ) and foster some dh/jump riding with others and get a network started.

Heres an opportunity. Use the MMBC DH email group to organise a group of you to share transport down there.

Im keen to help out chris if it means we can get trailers going.

If we were able to trailer the secondary school track for a few hours or something that would be awesome for next years race.

Trailer days in Manawatau are a long term goal but if you can work together to get a DH group working and making things happen the trailer thing will be easy to manage when the time comes.

We can look at the idea of something at Levin coming into the dryer weather.

We (various mmbc committee members) have our ears to the ground for opportunities all the time.
