Looking for a bit of feedback here...Below is a 3 shot panoramic that I have stitched together using photoshop. The first is basically as the camera saw it. The second is the same photo with a bit of highlighting done, etc. The first one is pretty much as I remember the day being, but to me the second looks like a better picture.
Comments please....

Once again the Wellington Mountain Bike Club will be running a photo competition at the race over the weekend of the 26th and 27th of September.
This competition is open to anyone at the event who can operate a camera.

Jawbone is a very busy with track, with a lot of technical features, and jumps with great airtime. There are a lot of locations for great photo oppourtunites, and heaps of room for more creative shots. Riders will be pushing themselves through narrow trails, steep chutes - and no doubt the infamous Wellington wind will play its part.

The winner will recieve $150 cash for their efforts.

The winning photo will be the one which best sums up the weekends racing.

Full details can be found here =} http://www.wmtbc.org.nz/index.php?optio ... &Itemid=31

Thanks. I was thinking it may have been too much. Was going to have another play with it tonight, but found I have only saved the original, cant be stuffed starting again. Too tired.

Been getting back into b/w lately. Semi-inherited an old Leica with a 50mm lens (summarit) and have been toting it around on some travel; took it up Kilimanjaro for an initiation. Am now beginning to process film in the spare bedroom again and scan it in, but I've gotten more back into medium format now. My digital skills are mediocre, and I have some older, less-well-post-processed things saved to Flickr...some of these don't live up to the negatives' potential.

Southern Icefields, Kilimanjaro. Barely remember taking these except for being struck by the light on the ice, fumbling with my meter, and walking away.

Yup, Watched it descend into nothingness out the lounge window. Thought I should take a couple more pics, but couldn't be arsed getting the camera back out.
