A trail, tickler, Direct rd Frontal lobotomy, hatu-patu, split enz, rollercoaster, chinese menu, dragons tail (that new section of dragons tail is sweeeet!), Ball & chain, and back up the fire road to Waipa.

Last night I got a nice ride in, out onto the Hutt Road, up Ngaio gorge, up through Broadmeadows and up Kaukau.

Along the skyline track and down Wahine.

I was stupidly slow after forgetting much of the trail since last time I did it. Was loving all the new cattlestops though. Awesome.

Was impressed by the number of others out - people out running, enjoying the nice full moon.

Belmont Trig last night with the BushLove/PNP mob. Great ride.

Bit late, but the state of my bike made me post, Used Wednesday well, had a good thrash at the Karori BMX track, Mt Vic, Mt Albert. You'd need to use a mining team to find the AC under her lovely coat of mud. And my mate's Hoss may have got an extra coat while he was off with his back turned..

I have geo tagged the photos and stuck up against the map.

Sifted out to Makara from my place in Mt Vic today, nice warmup. Then headed up Koru, Sally Alley, Missing Link, Aratihi, down Upper Leaping Lizard and Nikau, back up Missing Link and Aratihi to the summit, down Zacs and Varleys, along Skyline to Johnstons hill and down that Cemetary trail. Then cruised back through town looking rather broken I presume.

Hadn't ridden LL/Nikau before, Nikau in particular was cool, I liked the narrow, semi-ungroomed feel it has (compared to other tracks in the park anyway), climb out the bottom is a bit gross though heh. Was pretty tired by the time I got to the top of the Cemetary trail, perhaps woulda enjoyed it a little more, nice challenge though, couldn't clean a couple of the switchbacks. Reminded me of Deliverance a little in places. Will be keen to give it another crack sometime.

In hindsight it was probably a good thing I dropped my planned middle loop of down Ridgeline and up the 4WD track to the summit again

Shuttling today, trying to get some kind of riding ability together to get down the RMTBC "Mudbuster" race tomorrow, it was great to do some runs on the big bike, looking foward to the "race" tomorrow

Weds: Went for a short night-ride sift up Makara with Rocketman and his twitchy singlespeed - Koru -> 4WD -> Ridgeline Ext -> Lazy Fern.

I was meant to get out for a couple of hours before work today including a couple of tip tracks, but a bad case of CBF changed my plans a wee bit. Instead of that I headed into Makara, and did a lap of the A course for the first PNP race. Hadn't really been riding makara much, so it was a nice change - especially LL/Possum/Nikau. T3 is fun, but might not be great in a race situation IMO.

I've got a decent ride planned for tomorrow, so will no doubt make some post about how epic it was this time tomorrow night.

Alright, finally I can put an entry in here.

2, I said 2, rides today. A 90 minute flop in and around Tauranga, over from the Mt., via Matapihi and the rail bridge, stopped in to see my mate Vic at Hedgehogs, then some of the gravel trail around the inner harbour, across the harbour bridge, stopped at Shell Hewletts for Jellytip Trumpets, and then back home, ALL WITH MY LITTLE GUY ON THE BACK ON HIS TRAILER BIKE, flippin w00t for that! (fingers crossed he can handle QCW in November).

Then this evening over to Vegas, up Tokorangi Pa, down Corridor, up A-trail, Tickler, down Dragons Tail with the new exit on down to the duckpond, man that is some high speed berm action, then up to Red Tank Rd, up Lion, down Grinder, and a lap of Diamondback to finish, really enjoyable day.
