LOL! Was driving home from Ohakune, and passed the spot where the photo was taken, and thought - huh, should take a photo of that. Turned right into the main road of Foxton, doubled back, and voila!

I went out with the camera last night to a little church in Upper Hutt. There was so much light around though, and security lights kept coming on all the time! Some came out alright though, I guess.

Any hints or tips would be appreciated :)

I agree. Pity I couldn't fit the whole thing on my computer screen at once.

I said I'd ask for some advice, so here are my questions...

I liked the colour of the vegetation and sky, but the photo is lacking something - any ideas?

This scene looked fantastic in real life (which is why I grabbed the camera) but when I got home it looked kind of flat.

Same place, opposite direction

No questions - this was just a huge oak leaf

Not an exciting photo - just took it to see what difference the polarizing filter makes. Here it is on...

Here it is off.

I really liked this boat at Havelock. I tweaked this a little with photoshop but I have no idea what I did. I liked the outcome though :)

Went to the first day of the V8s today. A combo of a 2year old to look after and safety fences plus my lack of camera skills lead to some rather avg photos. Out of the 140 or so I took I'll keep about 10 max, only happy with acouple of them.

After looking at a couple at home although they were a cock up I rather like them for some reason.

I did but the camera was picking up the fence rather then the car.
Had to use manual focus in the end.
