One of my PhD advisors, who I now consider a friend, received a MNZM in the New Year's Honours List.

w00t for a 159 in 10pin bowling. I took my girls down there yesterday. It is so funny seeing my petite 7 year old (by petite I mean looks more like a 5 year old) trying to bowl. My 9 year old has a somewhat larger attitude and wants to do it here way, which is also a but funny to watch, but, hey, they had fun and a good time out was had by all.

My score was weird though....spare, strike, spare, strike, spare....20, 40, 60, 80, 100 for the first 5 frames.

Bowling was the reward for them having helped paint the fence -- and that is looking good too now.

Super intelligent and loyal.My Mom and Dad have one and he is trained to get golf balls out of the hole while we practice our putting. He doesn't try and chase them just when they stop he picks them up and drops them at our feet.
