Are you:

1. A keen photographer?
2. A Nikon fan?
3. Have plenty of spare coin?

This may be what you lust for... Nikon d3x

I'm not a 'real' photographer, and don't have a flash camera but this one I like - except that it bugs me its not looking directly 'down the barrel'. Rimutaka pylon track: brutal climb; feeling like a million bucks.

Here are some shots I have taken on work trips...

Early morning at Lake Tekapo or Pukaki.

I was soil sampling under this frozen kale a few months ago and it was C-C-C-C-COLD!

This one is not a great shot but the clouds were amazing. I was really dissapointed I didn't capture it well.

Lake Opuha (I think). I love how calm the water is.

It's a freakin' mean photo. Good work. Maybe a little cropping and a slight sharpening around the face would give it a stronger focal point to contrast the motion. Maybe not.

Love the last one XCguy. Makes me pine for the South.

Parents always try and take photos of their kids looking happy. I want mine to have a more balanced recollection of their childhood :D

Mitch - I loved the photo of your son way back about page 25 or so.

So I went away and took the wrong camera, but I still got a couple of nice shots. Was awesome to be in Brisbane during a storm, 8000 lightning strikes in an hour and all I could get was this....
